While your regular abilities play an obvious role in how you engage in combat, there's another power waiting to be unleashed and it's called Fighter's Spirit. Just like any great power, it must be learned, and in this article, you'll understand the process of acquiring it and learn about the two items that make it flourish.
With Fighter's Spirit you get exclusive abilities such as Wind Roar which increases Soul Attack by 20 and Soul Crit by 1. There's also Godspeed Spear that deals three consecutive strikes to a target! When in the Awakened state of Fighter's Spirit, you have a 20% chance to Stun the target with that skill. We offer Pristine Dew to level your Fighter's Spirit faster and a Spirit Orb to allow you to activate your Awakened state at a much increased rate it would normally regenerate at. First, let's talk about what Fighter's Spirit actually is. Essentially, it's all in the name in that you unleash a greater power within. Channeling this deep power allows you access to additional skills to use in combat. The skills associated with Fighter's Spirit are not determined by weapon class and everyone has the opportunity to learn the same abilities. However, only the strongest and most determined warriors will train themselves to the maximum, which will ultimately give them more of an edge in combat!
At level 60, anyone can activate Fighter's Spirit. To do this, you must visit the Fairy of Myth in Chang'an (278, 251). She will have an introductory dialogue quest available called Weak Spirit. Once you have finished that you will notice a new quest titled Soulseal Orb (Daily).
At this point, the Fairy of Myth will explain how Fighter's Spirit must be upgraded to Herald status by obtaining Soulseal Orbs as a reward for your daily quests. Since it takes 15 of them to reach Herald status, it will take 15 days to complete. However, if you possess the gold required, you can purchase the equivalent item called Soulseal Charm for 10 Gold each from her assistant, Zhan Hun.
Once you have 15 Soulseal Orbs or Soulseal Charms, use them to gain a nice burst of EXP as well as increasing your Fighter's Spirit to Herald status. When you're a Herlad, speak with the Fairy of Myth and you'll notice two options, Wind Roar and Fantasy Scheme. These are your spirit skills! So, let's say you learn Wind Roar first. You'd complete the quest of collecting five Spirit Guide Plants and five Spirit Glow Pills and then you would be able utilize Wind Roar which gives you substantial stats!
Now it's time to learn about leveling Fighter's Spirit and how the Spirit meter regenerates. There are two ways of obtaining EXP for it. The easy way is to trade 30 Energy to Zhan Hun in exchange for a Drifting Soul Shard which is used as currency to purchase different levels of Muhun Stone. These stones increase the EXP of Fighter's Spirit which in turn, increase the stats of any Spirit skill.
If you want to level your Fighter's Spirit quickly, purchase Pristine Dew from the Marketplace. Trade that in, along with 30 Energy to Zhan Hun and in return, you'll receive a Floating Soul Shard which allows you to purchase Xuexing Stones, granting much greater EXP to Fighter's Spirit.
One feature you'll notice very quickly is how the Fighter's Spirit panel bursts into flames periodically. This is due to the constant regeneration of the Spirit meter. Once the panel is on fire, you have the ability to enter an "Awakened" state. This ability ferociously engulfs you in flames and grants you increased damage to all of your Spirit skills as well as an elemental energy that acts as another weapon, attacking your target based Strength of your Spirit skills.
As fighting in an Awakened state proves effective, it's only natural that it would constantly be desired. However, it requires the Spirit meter to be filled halfway. Luckily, there's an item in the Marketplace that can help. Purchasing a Spirit Orb will eliminate the boring waiting period and allow you to automatically regenerate the meter to the halfway mark, making becoming Awakened much easier!
